This is abominable:
A STREET preacher has prompted concerns over religious freedom in Scotland after being fined £1,000 for telling passers-by in Glasgow city centre that homosexuals deserved the “wrath of God” and would go to hell.Shawn Holes admitted breaching the peace earlier this month by “uttering homophobic remarks” that were “aggravated by religious prejudice”.
Always remember how valuable our freedom of speech is.

Politico parodies itself (via): The Senate, once the chamber of deliberation and reason, is getting its own extreme makeover. I think this gets it right. The UK, land of the camera and big brother watching for ever. Almost as bad as the US under the patriot laws.
first God doesn’t hate fags he loves the person but hate’s the sin the same as he hate’s any sexual sin outside of a marriage between one man and one women, God created sex to be enjoyed by married cupels for reproduction, that is bringing forth new life, two guy’s together or two women can’t do that, but the only sin that will send someone to Hell is rejecting Jesus, for he paid for all our sin, if we come to him repenting (turning away) from our sin he will come into our hearts give us a new life, and he will remove the evil from us, but many will not want to listen, they will want to live in there filthy darkness, but Hell wasn’t made for man it was made for the devil and the demons, man has to chose to go to Hell, God will present life to all men and women, at some point in there life , how they respond will make all the difference, man is going to live on forever, with new bodies that won’t wear out like these ones we have now, as God created life, sin brought death and must be punished, we chose ether to accept or reject, Christ sacrifice on the cross, He was God come in the flesh, He had no sin, therefore he could pay for ours completely, so will we chose to come to Him, be forgiven or will we chose to reject Him and pay for our sin suffering in Hell for all eternity, the choice be ours.
jeebus, you actually took the time to write all that? shouldn’t you be praying or something?
What about the polygamy in the Bible that is condoned by God? Just curious.
Look, I’ll take this seriously and say that, as a Christian myself, I think the easiest way to refute the Christian faith is by insisting on intolerance on homosexuality. I mean, if God is Love--the quality made manifest in some way we don’t understand--then there is just no way He can be opposed to His own nature by being opposed to the love that gay and lesbian couples have for each other. It’s a contradiction. And if you can’t concede that gay relationships are different from the demented obsession of, say, pedophilia, then you should meet a few actual gay people before dismissing them.
we can have the deepest love relationships with others regardless of what gender without sex, but in regard to sex, God set the standard, but when we come to Jesus He cleans us up, he changes our desires, he works on us taking the garbage out of us, often we don’t have the desire or the power to change, He does the work, years before i come to know Jesus as my lord and savour i was a homosexual, i got hurt and walked away from it , i eventually became a alcoholic smoking 3 pkg..s of cigarettes a day, i was coughing up blood and needed to quit, i tried slowing down, didn’t work, tried quitting cold turkey, it didn’t work, tried nicoban and smoked with it, i was at some peoples place for 2 hours and put 12 butts in the ashtray in 2 hours, all mine they told me Jesus was alive, not the dead figure on the crucifix, i didn’t believe them, i left there place and said God if, your real take this smoking away from me, right then he did that was back in 1980, i haven’t smoked since, and He is still working on me
Do you have a hobby besides masturbating to the holy ideal of Jesus?
just a word of caution, we will all stand before Jesus to give an account of what we have said and done, ” it is appointed unto man to die once and face judgement “
thanks for the info. bye now.
Further discussion does seem pointless at the moment.
any time you feel like discussing, i am willing, have a good day

Sigh, another person that presents his view as a discussion. While I am personally glad that Roy has had a live changing revelation, his type of relation is not what this board is about. However, he is still caught on the old judgmental fundamentalist position that homosexuality is a choice. And is more interested in making an attack and scoring points than in living the life that the Lord wants us to.
hi Schu
sorry you see speaking the truth as an attack,or scoring points, if homosexuality is not a choice than God made two huge mistakes one, with Sodom and Gomorra, and two, sending Jesus to die on the cross, that we could be free from all our bondage’s, it is writen, “it is for freedom you have been set free now remain in your freedom” personally, as i fell back into sin, the Lord used the 2x4 on the backside method (so to speak) to bring me back, He loves us that much, he wants us walking in freedom
roy ruser
Your version of the truth seems to be very judgmental and slanted in a non Christian way. The Lord judges people, and makes his judgment, not his followers. His followers try to live their lives as he would have us, and in accordance with his teachings. Like judge not and not be judged.
truth comes from rightly dividing the word of God, we are told to “study to show ourselves approved rightly dividing the Word” when i or anyone, weather a pastor, teacher, etc. puts forth the Word of God, the hearer is responsible to check it out, does it say what the person says it is saying, or has the person spoke in error, example someone says to me you need to be living a holy life, if i am not living a holy life i feel guilty, i go to the Word, and it does say to live a holy life, the Holy Spirit convicts me, i repent, turn away from my sin, i am now back in right relationship with God living a holy life, if someone condemns me, i worry not, no matter what they say as i am in right standing with God, even tho i might have to suffer consequences for my sin, but, better i repent now, as the blood of Jesus will cover my sin, than stand before God with my sins unforgiven, but on the other hand if i am living a holy life and i am condemned i should not worry about it, No, because God is my judge, if the judgement i feel is legitimate, i need to repent, but if not then i need not except it, as it isn’t from God, as we go through this life, we will be, by some, accused, weather false or genuine, by some, judged, weather false or genuine, by some, spoken against, weather false or genuine, if it is genuine, best we repent, if it is false, we best do as Col. 2:13 says, ” forgive as the LORD forgave you, You be the judge!
and I do forgive you as the Lord forgives me. That is why I try to convince you and not block you. In examining you posts on this topic though, you still come across as a judgmental christian fundamentalist that is judging us and condemning us which is the Lords job, not yours. Whether a person believes or not is between him/her and the Lord, and not between a host of others and the Lord. The Lord will judge us not others.
