“I think it’s the hint of exasperation that makes this wonderful.” —Radley Balko

Well, it would be awefully rude of him not to.

  2. schu says:

Who are these people, and why do we care? As a believer I believe he will return. If you do not believe then you do not think he ever was. Their presentation is really weird.

    • Gherald says:

These people are the religious right.

They base their politics on their beliefs and, for instance, are not so concerned with environmental issues. They think "God sets the temperature" or will be returning soon so it won't matter.

      | If you do not believe then you do not think he ever was

What do you mean by "ever was". Ever was going to return?

So far as I know, Jesus died circa 33 C.E.

For the past twenty centuries, many of his followers have come and gone, frequently predicting his return in the near future.

It seems the more exasperated his followers are with contemporary life, the more they hope for his return. This amuses the rest of us.

amen to that. better than cable

      • schu says:

For me you answered the question, as you do not believe that he is the son of God and the Son of Man. They do not amuse me as they like to pervert my believes and try to force people to believe. Which does not fit into any of Christs beliefs or teachings.
