I have really had it up to here with conservatives’ abuse of the English language.

What did they call KSM getting his day in federal court? A “show trial“.

What does Michelle Malkin call the decision to televise the Prop. 8 trial? A “show trial“:

It’s a flagrant attempt at making Prop. 8 a show trial — and intimidating Prop. 8 backers who will be called to testify.
Look, you drooling halfwits, there is this thing called a “dictionary”. If you’re going to run around with talking points that rely on the use of a particular term, you should probably look it up:
“show trial” (n): A trial held for show; the guilt of the accused person has been decided in advance.
The sine qua non of a “show trial” is a corrupt and predisposed judicial body. The simple fact that a trial is “showy” or garners lots of attention doesn’t make it a fucking show trial.

Sigh.

Do you really think that you can get spin doctor's to use the English language correctly?
