Can we say flip-flopper? Didn't he want to open up Medicare to people 50-60? And now he doesn't? What an asshole.
He's also a friend of John Hagee and the Christian Zionist movement.
Three months ago he proposed that!! He's a spiteful asshole.
But then the insurance lobby that pays his wife her enormous paycheck yanked his leash hard.
He's a hypocrite and a liar yes, and I have no respect for many of his positions. But then I could say the same for many members of Congress.

Lieberman said when a few people he disliked came out in favor of the medicare buy in, he decide he had to oppose it.

There are two possible explanations of this. One, he's actually serious, which means he reaches opinions on complex topics simply by gauging the reactions of others. Or two, he's lying, and that statement was intended to rub his actions in the faces of those who favored the Medicare buy-in. In other words, Lieberman either has the reasoning capacity of a 10 year old or the mentality of one.
