Keith Olbermann recently dug into his heart and his pocket and started a drive to set up one of those stadium-sized free clinic events in each of the largest cities in the states of recalcitrant conservadems who are fighting the public option and health care reform.

I think its a great idea – both for the thousands of people who will receive much-needed free health care and the political pressure this will put on conservadems to resist the siren call of their health insurance industry overlords.

I just donated $200 to the cause at The National Association of Free Clinics.

The last time I heard, they’d already raised nearly $500,000 as a result of the effort.

Can’t you spare a few minutes of your time and some bills out of your wallet to help this get off the ground?

Any amount will do.

The free clinics are a good thing to do and support. But it will not pressure the conservitives as they are to busy collecting payoff money from the insurance companies to notice.
