As some of you may have surmised from the increased posting rate today, I’m rested, refreshed and back from my vacation. This will bring to a close the official period of bloggysitting by our good friend-of-the-blog, Gherald. It seems as if he sparked a good amount of interesting debate in my absence and wrote some in-depth, thought-provoking articles. Even though I’m back, I hope he’ll still consider writing an occasional post or two.
And, because I know you’re hankering for it — here’s another cute nieces-in-Hawaii picture:

Welcome back! Though due to your willingness to throw up an occasional post from Hawaii plus the wonders of the internet, we didn't go through very much withdrawal. Hehe.
This last weekend was slow, but I hope my earlier posts helped keep the place lively--I certainly enjoyed many of the comments.
I'll consider an occasional future post--perhaps about once a week, if there's interest. I mean, it's always nice to write for a wider audience, but I wouldn't want to push your readers away with too much "right wing whining" as kevinista put it =P
While I hardly agree with some of your view points I really do like the discussions that develop from them. And of course the pictures are great.
thanks again for the great posts and for provoking some great discussions while i was away. i'd love it if you felt so inclined to offer up a post once in a while. just maybe not on health care or love notes to Queen McArdle? :)
