Is it just me or does the juxtaposition of these two Facebook ads strike you as just a wee bit mismatched?

I’ve often been a bit irked at the incessant flashing of almost exclusively gay singles ads whenever I visit Facebook.

Like I need a daily reminder that I’m perpetually single. And I certainly don’t think many gay singles are trolling around with solid Christian values as their chief dating criteria. But what do I know, I’m just a jaded gaytheist.

Anyone know of a way to block particular ads on Facebook?

You can use greasemonkey with firefox, and check out scripts at http://userscripts.org/ . There are some that are Facebook specific, I forgot Facebook even has ads. I use one called "Remove All Facebook Ads", which is here http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/42497 .

Ha! I actually took a screenshot of your Palin rant yesterday, because Google ads had plastered a Palin PAC ad in my RSS feed. I'll try to get it posted so you can see… today has been a very scary computer day, but maybe tomorrow, if I can figure out where I put the capture. But this post has a bunch of gay personals Google Ad-ded at the Bottom. I see this regularly, but your blog seems especially susceptible to innappropriate ads.
