Let’s consider the burning question of the day: who should be blamed for causing Governor Mark Sanford to cheat on his wife?
The Gays?
“So many prominent Republicans have been caught in these types of situations lately: Mark Sanford; Larry Craig; David Vitter; John Ensign from Nevada. And you want to know why this is happening? The gays. That’s right. They’ve destroyed the institution of marriage and now this is what we get.” — Comedian Jimmy KimmelWhat about the the Democrats? President Obama? Here’s Comedian Rush Limbaugh:
Rush Limbaugh, without a hint of humor, argued that South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford (R) cheated on his wife, betrayed his family, and abandoned his professional responsibilities to fly off to Argentina … and it’s President Obama’s fault.Remember when conservatives used to say that liberals were opposed to people taking responsibility for their own actions? Good times, good times.“This is almost like, ‘I don’t give a damn, the country’s going to Hell in a handbasket, I just want out of here,’” Limbaugh said. “[Sanford] had just tried to fight the stimulus money coming to South Carolina. He didn’t want any part of it; he lost the battle. He said, ‘What the hell. I mean, the federal government’s taking over — what the hell, I want to enjoy life.‘”
Limbaugh added, “The point is, there are a lot of people whose spirit is just — they’re fed up, saying, ‘To hell with it, I don’t even want to fight this anymore, I just want to get away from it.’”
A listener apparently sent Limbaugh an email during the program, asking if he was kidding about the White House’s economic policies being responsible for Sanford’s affair. “No!” he said, adding that the governor may have realized, “The Democrats are destroying the country; we can’t do anything to stop it.”

It’s amazing to me that Mitt Romney brings up France as a scary comparison point to himself so often when he spent years there and speaks the language. It’s such a minor point, but telling. This is just another example of the situation ethics that is destroying a once great political party. Its wrong if the other side does it, but it’s forgivable if our side does it.
its a vast left wing conspiracy
Wow! Sounds like Rush Limbaugh really hates America.
Obviously the whole affair and many other problems have a singular cause, "Global Warming".
Rush really does not hate America, he simply will say anything that comes to mind to make a buck. Nothing else maters, not morality, not the country only making more money. All you have to do is examine his marketing system in the deserts of AM broad casting to see how he makes his fortune.
Rush dont have to worry about making a buck..he makes more and has more than u could dream about.. and its true Obama is not for the USA.. Obama is for obama and power.. and thank god he will only have it for 2 years.. because black and white are finally waking up… he wants power that means not change but slaves… and how about if we say..Mark made his own choice of having his ho instead of his kids…..
E That’s the point! Rush is in only for the buck, and nothing else matters. As to your other point I can only agree that the people are waking up after eight years of GOP lies and Obama will win another term. Indiana went Democratic nationally for the first time since 1964, while re-electing a Republican governor and retaining Republican leadership in the house. This means there was a tremendous shift from solid Republican voters to independent split ticket voters. Yes indeed, people are waking up.nter text right here!
He sure loves the sound of his voice! Pure egotism.
