Dan Froomkin offers a scathing rebuke of the mainstream media in his final post at the Washington Post:

Hopefully, the next time the nation faces a grave national security crisis, we will listen to the people who were right, not the people who were wrong, and heed those who reported the truth, not those who served as stenographers to liars.

    Unfortunately the news will still be covered by the corporate controlled press that will only cover what the corporations want. Unless we can develop a good investigative internet press that does not get bought up by the corporations.
