Supreme and all-powerful douchebiscuit Norm Coleman has finally given up on his Sisyphean, RNC-financed struggle to subvert the will of the Minnesota electorate:

“I just congratulated Al Franken on his victory,” Coleman said in a press conference with reporters. “I told him it’s the best job he’ll ever have — representing Minnesota in the United States Senate. The Supreme Court has spoken, I will respect its decision, and abide by its results,” Coleman also said.

Franken said he talked to Coleman and “we agreed that it is time to bring the state together.”

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, a Republican, said he will sign the election certificate Tuesday as directed by the court and applicable law.

And it is about time. And cost how much? Wonder if they can bill him for it.

    Great quote from CNN:
"I'm just thrilled that its over. … Thank God it's over. We've been the laughing stock of the country."

You think? Wasn't Franken doing this for material anyway? Will Franken win the most stupid Senator award? It is embarrasing.

With all the competition that he has in Washington I think he would have to work awfully hard to win such an award.
