A talented youtube duo offer a heartfelt song below to bring attention to Bill O’Reilly’s important concern that gay marriage will lead to sex with ducks:
Bill O’Reilly theorized that the legalization of gay marriage could lead to interspecies marriages, stating to Margaret Hoover, “[Y]ou would let everybody get married who want to get married. You want to marry a turtle, you can.” O’Reilly has previously suggested that gay marriage could ultimately allow for a person to marry a goat, duck, or dolphin.

Politico parodies itself (via): The Senate, once the chamber of deliberation and reason, is getting its own extreme makeover. I think this gets it right. Additionally, though, while I find Rick Santorum’s beliefs to be pretty risible, and his inability to accept that his ideas had some less-than-ideal results during the ’00s is a personal failing, but at the very least he seemed to possess some sense of personal honor and integrity. (

I am confused, does this mean that Bill O'Reilly wants to marry a duck? Is he exposing his inner nature here? It is the only conclusion that I can draw from his remarks.
I am a 25 year old female from pakistan . I live in a very conservative society in which sex and sexuality are topics that are still a taboo and of course nobody talks about homosexuality let alone supporting gay rights . I believe in gay rights and i believe that gay marriage should be legalised in america . I cant say the same thing for pakistan because here some men and women till this day are murdered sometimes in the name of "honour killings"just because they married a person(of opposite sex) of their own choice instead of having an arranged marriage .
Cont:
So talking about gay marriage is a completely outlandish thing here but it is quite surpring to me that a country like america whose citizens have rights that the people of some other countries can only dream of , still treats homosexuals so badly . Still gays are discriminated against , still there is a ban on gay marriage , still there are right wing , crazy republican , bigots like Bill O reilly who compare gay marriage to bestiality or others who think that homosexuality is the same thing as pedophilia . There are still people like carie prejean who say that gay marriage is wrong because she believes marriage should only be between a man and a woman. When people like her tell others to do this or not do that because that's what the teachings of christianity say , i want to ask them , can you honestly say that you are living your lives exactly according to the teachings of christiany ?
Cont:
Is it allowed in christianity to drink , wear bikinis, have sex outside of marriage and take part in beauty pageants or get nude photos taken? personally i am not against any of that but i am just making a point that does "Miss. biblically correct" herself live a life that is actually biblically correct? people should look at their own actions first and try practicing what they preach instead of judging others. And even if lets say there's a priest who does live his life according to bible , still he has no right to talk about hate and discrimination against anyone on the basis of their sexual orientation .Gay marriage should definitely be legealised. A loving gay couple has as much right to get married as any othet straight couple . Also after an African American president being ellected in USA , i want to see a gay president being ellected there too
thanks vaneeza for the great commentary. as a gay man, i can appreciate the benefits of living in america yet still bristle at how poorly gay people are treated in many sectors of american society. it's also important to keep perspective and bear in mind the many places in the world where gay people are treated much worse, such as Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. the stories i've heard recently about some of the murders of gay men in iraq are truly horrifying. i lived in south india for a time and was completely in the closet to everyone — it was very clear that he locals had very bad opinions of gay people. religious fundamentalism, whether christian, muslim or otherwise, is dangerous and leads to much suffering — not just for gay people but for anyone who doesn't toe the fundamentalist line. thanks for bringing in some much needed perspective!
