Say what you will about the merits of this view but a new poll shows that folks under 30 aren’t too concerned about the “Big Government” boogeyman:

Taking this from a purely political perspective, news like this — added to the GOP’s archaic stances on gays, immigration, etc. — helps paint a pretty bleak future for the GOP among non-geriatrics.

    While I am a Democrat, the size of the government on all levels is scary. In most current history in the USA, most people under thirty do not worry about the size of government. It is not until your children enter school, or you have problems running a business, or you have to deal with a bureaucratic organization that you begin to find out the problems with big government. This does not usually happen until you are in your forties or fifties.
