At least it's promoting resistance to hypocrisy. Think about how many bible-thumpers rant about the ten commandments, but conveniently ignore the fact that nearly all the biblical punishments for violation of those commandments is death (usually by stoning). If more Christians were actually adherent, it'd be a hell of a lot easier to get rid of that and other abusive religions. Now, though, it's all about a bunch of moderates looking the other way or otherwise indirectly supporting such madness.

interesting how so few alleged christians take a minute and stop to think "what would jesus think". this jesus guy they believe sounds like a decent-enough guy in certain respects, and christians seem to think he was all about love, charity, etc. killing hateful faggots doesn't seem to fit into that mix.
Yep. Same Christians who say that the NT bible describes a "loving God" while at the same time they're trying to put the Ten Commandments in court houses and public schools. The Loving God who sent Jesus down to inform everyone that although the OT must be followed, there's this cool new thing called Hell that should convince even the most skeptical people of the Divine Duo's loving grace.
They don't care what Jesus would think, rather they are more interested
in how he died. To them, belief and not actions is the most important part of being Christian.
